DIRECT CONNECTION TO M-D TRANSIT

Launched on October 28th, GO Connect is a free* way to go anywhere in an area a bit larger than South Miami to any one of the three MetroRail stations.

*Limitations of Go Connect: Rides will be free for patrons with a ticket to the Metrorail, otherwise, each ride will be $2.25. It will work only from your address to metro rail stations (South Miami, Kendal North and South). You have to pay if you don’t have a valid metro rail ticket for the day the service

More information is available at: goconnect.miamidade.gov or call 786-321-5842.

LUDLAM TRAIL

A virtual public information meeting about the proposed Ludlam Trail Corridor is scheduled for Thursday, November 19th, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The LUDLAM TRAIL will be a 5.6-mile, iconic greenway with paths for biking, walking, and running, connecting the heart of Miami-Dade. The trail will link schools, parks, transit, homes, workplaces and spots to shop & dine. The land was recently purchased by Miami-Dade County; a Project Development & Environment study and design of the trail are now underway. Stretching north-south from Robert King High Park to Downtown Kendall, this trail will form part of the “Miami Loop” in the county’s network of bikeways, along with the Underline.

Many have wondered what was happening, if anything.

Now is your chance to find out. The more - and the more positive - participation on November 19th, the better for the project.

Be sure to register for this event by calling 305-755-7848 or by clicking on: miamidade.gov/ludlamtrail.
