BIKE TO WORK DAY

Mayor Daniella Levine Cava invites you to participate in the 10th annual Bike305 Bike to Work Day on

Wednesday, March 9th.

This year’s event will be staged at the

Town of Miami Lakes Town Hall

6601 Main Street

Miami Lakes, FL 33017

with remarks by Mayor Cava and special guests beginning at 8 a.m. Following remarks, there will be a 6-mile bike ride that will go through Miami Lakes, Hialeah, and the western edge of the City of Opa-Locka ending at Miami-Dade County’s Amelia Earhart Park. Bike305 Bike to Work Day is a mayor’s initiative encouraging residents to choose a bicycle versus a car to travel to work and experience how easy & stress-free it can be to arrive by bike. Besides the obvious health benefits, biking to work can reduce traffic congestion and carbon-emissions for a cleaner, healthier county and planet. We invite you to be part of this 10-year celebration, whether or not you will participate in the actual bike ride. Let’s all promote a healthy lifestyle for our constituents! Please RSVP to: Sue Kawalerski, Bike305 Manager at kawaler@miamidade.gov or call (305) 978-2233 with any questions you may have. Sue can reserve a bicycle with helmet if you choose to participate in the ride and arrange for transportation back to the Miami Lakes event site.
